Wag Kalimutan ang Holy Spirit
Kakaiba talaga ang konsepto ng Holy Spirit hindi ba?
Isa siya sa mga unique na concept na mayron sa Christian faith.
Ang Holy Spirit ay isa sa nagpapakita sa atin ng concept na Emanuel sa Bible. Ibig sabihin ay ‘God with us’, hindi lang Siya andiyan pero nagtatrabaho din ang Panginoon through the Holy Spirit.
Ang Holy Spirit ang nagiging guide natin sa buhay. Naninirahan Siya sa atin at tinutulungan tayo para lumaki at maging mas katulad ni Jesus. Through the Holy Spirit, nagagawa natin ang mga hindi natin naiisipan nagagawa ng mga tao lamang.
An entity that takes up residence within the human soul, that inspires, guides, and cultivates us to become more and more like the giver of the Spirit — Jesus Christ. Even more mysteriously, our own person is reborn by the presence of this being inside of us.
There are plenty of leaders that can cast a vision, and motivate their followers. But only God can give us an inner power to accomplish the challenge set before us by sending the Holy Spirit to empower and guide us in His divine purpose. No other teacher, leader or guru has ever delivered on this promise. But Christ ensures we are not just transformed by the hearing of His words, but also by his own person: His Spirit at work in our life.
The Holy Spirit gives you the power to advance the Kingdom of God the way Jesus did, and the counsel and wisdom to wield the power with His integrity and compassion.
Being armed with the experience of Jesus and an awareness of His message can sometimes cause us to skip the necessity of the Holy Spirit, and we attempt to accomplish in our own strength what God intended we fulfil by the Spirit. Even before the disciples were released to share the message, they had to wait for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. These were people who were privy to Jesus’ teachings day in and day out. We don’t have a hope of fulfilling the mission without the Holy Spirit.
A Christian without the Holy Spirit active in their life is like a car that doesn’t move — it ceases to fulfil its purpose.
We need the Holy Spirit as we share Jesus like we need air in our lungs to make our words have any volume. Have you forgotten this? Are you trying to act like Jesus, but have yet to be filled with the only agent of transformation that can make you Christ-like? Maybe it’s time to take another look at the Holy Spirit?
